In a large bowl that can hold a medium sized bowl, fill it partially with ice. Sprinkle on about 1 part salt of 4 parts ice.
Nestle a medium sized bowl in the large bowl. Combine the rest of the ingredients in the medium sized bowl. Heavy whipping cream, milk, sugar, and ube extract.
Beat the mixture for about 8-12 minutes or until it starts to get fluffier. Cover and put it all into the freezer for about 2 hours.
After two hours, beat the mixture again for another 5 minutes or until it looks smoother. Pour into a freezer friendly container, cover and chill in the freezer for 24 hours to firm up.
Take it out scoop and serve immediately for an onolicious ube ice cream!
