Furikake Chex Mix

Ingredients
- 1 Box Corn Chex
- 1 Box Rice Chex
- 1 Box Wheat Chex
- 1 pack stick pretzels
- 1 cup mixed nuts almonds
- ¾ cup Furikake Seasoning
Sauce:
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup honey or Karo Syrup corn syrup
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tbs. shoyu soy sauce
Instructions
- Evenly split the Chex, pretzels, and almonds between two large foil pans. Gently mix all of the ingredients.
- Preheat the oven to 250°F.
- Melt the butter in a pot over medium heat. Add the sugar in and mix until dissolved. Mix in the honey, oil, and shoyu. Stir constantly for about 2 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and pour sauce evenly amongst the 2 pans. Use two spatulas to mix the sauce into the chex mix gently.
- Sprinkle the furikake seasoning between the 2 pans. Put the 2 pans into the oven and bake at 250°F for 1 hour. Take the 2 pans out of the oven every 15 minutes to toss the mix and prevent burning.
- After baking, let it cool to room temperature and pack them into goodie bags so friends and family may enjoy this onolicious local Furikake Chex Mix for the holidays!
